About
Welcome to Qulture, a vibrant culinary gem nestled in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, specifically located at Venustiano Carranza 466, in the lively Zona Romántica. This unique establishment blends the flavors of a bar and restaurant with the inspiring ambiance of an art gallery, creating an experience that is as much about culture as it is about cuisine.
At Qulture, every visit promises an exploration of delectable dishes and crafted cocktails. Whether you indulge in the mouthwatering Surf & Turf, as applauded by diners like Kevin Taylor, or opt for the generous vegan beet salad mentioned by Freddy Hernandez, each plate is thoughtfully prepared to captivate your taste buds. The warm service from the staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for food lovers and art enthusiasts alike.
The heart of Qulture lies not just in its eclectic menu but also in its ambiance. Mike Mallinson captures the spirit when he describes it as a fantastic combination of an art gallery and cocktail bar. This synergy of food and art is ideal for enjoying delightful cocktails, especially as noted during the popular happy hour on Wednesdays, which invites both locals and tourists to unwind together.
As you indulge in dishes like bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers or the rich salmon and mushroom risotto, you're not just feeding your hunger; you're partaking in a cultural experience that celebrates local artists and flavors. The chocolate bread pudding dessert, highlighted by satisfied diners such as David Hetrick, transforms a meal into a memorable occasion.
In conclusion, Qulture is not merely a restaurant; it is a fusion of delicious culinary offerings and the vibrant arts scene in Puerto Vallarta. Each visit is an invitation to savor and celebrate food in a charming and artistic setting. “ Fantastic combination art gallery and cocktail bar/restaurant. We were here to see a friend's showing, found out Wednesday was happy hour all day and had several drinks with some of the artists before leaving with a piece to take home as an incredible souvenir ”
“ Definitely one of our favorite places in Vallarta. Delicious food, great service and surrounded by local artists this place has everything! We shared the Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and coconut shrimp which were outstanding. Peppercorn sauce on a very tender filet steak was tasty. Salmon and mushroom risotto was great and the chocolate bread pudding for dessert was phenomenal. ”
“ Pulled pork sliders with Caesar salad. Bacon and cheese beef sliders with fries. Hot and delicious! Service was excellent! LOTS of vegetarian options on the menu! Happy hour from 4-7pm. ”
“ Love this place. I had the Ahi Tuna pizza with wasabi sauce and it was amazing. My husband had the Blue cheese wedge with chicken. We come here often and this is the 1st time having their pizza. It was delicious. Next I am trying the Chicken Pesto Pizza. Ask for Gabriel, sit at the bar and tell him that Chuck and Tom from @casatamarindopv sent you! He will take great care of you and also give you the Chocolate Bread Pudding for free on us. ENJOY ”
“ Excellent meal, enjoyed it very much. I had the Surf & Turf, my wife had Sliders. Our cocktails were perfect, as was the food. Service was very friendly, polite and they were busy! ”
“ Awesome bar for cocktails! We did not try the food but it looks amazing. Veronica the bartender rocks! ”
“ Really cool space that’s part bar/restaurant and part art gallery/studios. The restaurant has a generously sized vegan beet salad for 125 pesos. ”
“ What an interesting place. Bar, restaurant, and art gallery. The hibiscus margarita (pictured) was a fun drink. All day Wednesday is happy hour. I also had the baja shrimp tacos, which were pretty good. I also enjoyed the music videos playing in the background. The staff were friendly. After we ate, we wandered around the galleries on both floors, looking at the artwork. Our only criticism is when we asked for the check, we were just told the amount without being shown the actual check. We asked to see the actual printed itemized check and were shown a slip of paper that showed a handwritten list of the things we had ordered, not the actual check. We didn't want to create a scene, so we accepted the amount. This is PV, we've had issues with incorrect checks before and extra items being added that we hadn't ordered. When we got back to our condo, I looked on their online menu to check if what we were charged looked correct, and I'm pleased to say it did. The situation could have been avoided if they had just shown us the itemized printed check. ”
